Pun Of The Weak: Guard Dog

Carl and Paul are business partners and own a store. In the span of one year, the store was robbed a couple of times. So, they decided to purchase a guard dog for the store.

While shopping for a guard dog, Carl stumbled upon a small shop in Chinatown which has a sign that reads:

“Want best guard dog? Look no further!”

Intrigued, Carl went inside the shop and he was greeted by an old Chinese man.

“Want a guard dog? I have the best guard dogs!” the old man said.

Carl looked at the dogs and he was disappointed to find out that there were only Chow Chows,

“They are all just Chow Chows. You expect me to believe that they’re the best guard dogs?” he stated incredulously.

The old man said, “They know karate.”

“Yeah, right!” Carl replied.

The old man, seeing Carl’s skepticism, proceeded to let one of the dogs out. Then he took one brick and placed it in front of the dog.

“Karate! Brick!” the old man ordered.

To Carl’s amazement, the dog did a karate chop and the brick was cleanly split in half. Needless to say, he bought the dog.

When Paul saw the dog, he asked Carl why he bought a Chow Chow of all things.

“This will be our guard dog,” Carl answered.

“The dog knows karate!”

“Karate! My foot!”
