What’s Your First Blog Post?

cropped-cropped-cropped-header2.jpg

As this post’s title stated, I’d like to know what’s your first blog post. Please share the link to your first post in the comments section if you want. But if you feel embarrassed about it or you just don’t feel like sharing it, that’s fine. You don’t have to share the link. Just tell us what’s your first post was all about.

Here’s mine:

https://learnfunfacts.com/2017/01/01/happy-new-year-2017/

To save you the trouble of visiting the link, here’s the gist of the post. I started my post with: “A new year and a new blog.” Yeah, it’s lame if you think about it. Then, this was followed by a couple of pictures regarding some numerical curiosities for the number 2017:

That’s it! There are no other words after the images. While I can’t say that I am disappointed with my first post, I feel that it was rather lacking. It’s my first post after all, and I could’ve written more.

So, what’s your first post and how do you feel about it? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Thank you for visiting Ephemera Captured. However my first blog post was not on that particular blog. I began with a devotional blog called Garment of Praise. First post was September 5, 2008. You can find it here: https://wordpress.com/posts/praisegarment.wordpress.com

Greetings and Thank-you’s Edmark for liking a recent post of mine, and for the opportunity to plug my own blog. The first post ever is about my first day in Bali, Indonesia. Way back in 2007. It was originally an e mail I sent to about 50 friends and acquaintances. By converting it to a blog post, I thought I was going to become a world famous travel blogger…

My first post was just a little background of my struggle with mental illness and that I am not going to let this “disease” stop me from doing what I dream. After this one, my posts have turned into stories I’ve written in a roundabout way to express emotions. Please take a look and let me know what you think!

Thank you Edmark for popping by to read my blogs.
There should be a laughing out loud button on your puns for the weak.
The first time I began blogging, was a dedication to my Mom after I lost her.
“I somehow had to keep on living, until I was alive again”
Grief is a terrible thing to understand and process … so. I started writing letters to her in the way we used to have our daily conversations … and this is how justsayins began and they end as ‘Hey Momma’ … in the hope that I can leave footprints from my Mom and forwards to our future generations to come.

  12. Thanks Edmark for a chance to find some cool blogs, & share my own! My first post was about my biggest fear – the dreaded blank page (all you writers know what I’m talking about). Glad my blogging skills have improved since I started, but here it is: https://writingscaredblog.wordpress.com/2017/09/21/first-blog-post/

  15. My first blog post is a poetry that I will always be close to my heart. It came to me as if from a place I cannot own and I knew it was special. I decided to start a blog on wordpress, a decision so urgent that this poem called me to take. I haven’t stopped writing or posting since…
