Here’s a little riddle from Don Lemon, Everybody’s Illustrated Book of Puzzles, 1890:
Twice six are eight of us,
Six are but three of us,
Nine are but four of us,
What can we possibly be?
Would you know more of us?
I’ll tell you more of us.
Twelve are but six of us,
Five are but four of us, now do you see?

Letters.
Thank you for the answer. I would have gone crazy.

Hey! I and Åke have started a new site. We could not transfer the content of our old blog, fotobloggarna.se to the new hosting provider.
Hope you want to follow our new blog. http://www.thephotobloggers.com

Wonderful — and beyond me, pre-coffee. Maybe post-coffee, now that I think of it.

ESP that’s another clue,
So then us are two,
and with that in view,
You are three…true?

I got that one. I don’t think your link to the solution is active, though…

Which browser are you using? I’m just curious since the code I’m using to display the solution is correct. From what I understand, rowsers that don’t support newer HTML5 tags like Edge and IE would just display the hidden text.
Thanks.
