  1. If I had to pick a favorite author of the twentieth century, it would probably be Orwell. He was the Indiana Jones of writers in that he never let adversity keep him from writing. He wrote 1984 while he was dying. I couldn’t live up to that…

    1. It’s fun to watch as all his futuristic visions come true… and a little scary too.
      He was sitting on a rooftop at the front line of the Spanish Civil War reading a stack of novels as he waited for the fighting to begin. What a guy!
