Learn Fun Facts’ Blog Party: Share Your Blog Here, January 2019

cropped-cropped-cropped-header2.jpg

This is another edition of LearnFun Facts’ Blog Party. If you want to promote your blog or post, this is a great place to do so. The blogging community here is friendly and supportive so don’t be shy to join in.

Also, to those of you who had joined in the previous blog party, feel free to leave your links here again.

Growing a blog isn’t simple. It takes time, patience, and dedication before others would begin to notice your blog. While I can’t offer you a magic formula that would increase your blog’s popularity overnight, I can at least help you to promote your blog and find new readers.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Share a link to your blog (or blog post) that you want to promote in the comments section. To attract more attention, you may include a short and creative description of your blog.

Tips:

  • You may comment multiple times. For example, after you promoted your blog, you can post another comment which promotes a blog post.
  • Avoid including too many links (not more than two) on the same comments since the spam filter may treat it as spam.
  • If you want, you can also promote another blogger’s blog here.
  • Include http:// (or https://) in your link to make it active. The easiest way to do this is to go to your site using a browser and copy the link in the address bar.
  • Visit the blogs of the other bloggers who comment here. This is a great opportunity for you to interact with other bloggers. Who knows, you might find some blogs that you like.
  • Consider reblogging and sharing this post so that more people would know about it.

  1. A Blog Party is a really cool idea. I love the name.
My blog is predominantly sci-fi oriented. It features character bios, vignettes, and joking rants from the point of view of an alien who thinks humans are very strange creatures. There’s also poetry section for added flavoring.
Feel free to stop by. There will be punch and pie, which is a lie.

  3. This is extremely charitable and a great idea!!!!

My blog is poorly designed and terribly neglected, but I’m trying to work up the courage to make the commitment to stop procrastinating and get around to doing some work. I really want to encourage compassion and critical thinking and personal courage through the things I write, but I’m not sure if anything comes across.

Give it a look and let me know what you think!

  4. What an awesome idea! Thank you for inviting us to share. 🙂 I hope blog parties become more common. What an incredible way to find interesting writers. Can’t wait to get to know some of you! 🙂
    Here are my blogs:

The primary focus of my blog is on reviews of science fiction and fantasy short fiction. I cover nearly all SFWA-qualifying/professional magazines. I also do occasional book/novel reviews or discuss visual SF. Probably the posts most directly related to this site (which frequently include links back here) are the weekly “Links” posts which contain links to items on science fiction (and fiction, generally), science (actually, STEM), history, humor, and music, which I hope are as interesting to others as they are to me. I’ll follow up with a couple of SF examples but here’s my latest “Links” post:

    1. Here’s an example of a review which made me happy, as I love to find great stories.

Here’s an example of the sort of “special” posts I sometimes do. I’m not sure that this one is very good, but that would at least make it representative. 😉

Thanks, Edmark, for your fascinating blog and this generous post. I already see a few sites, especially a couple of SF-related ones, I’ll be checking out.

      1. That’s funny, John. I was halfway through typing the same thing about your site; then, I said, “Who cares what I think?”
You have more confidence than I do.
You know, I did an essay on the Osprey, so I found your recent photographs interesting…

      2. Thanks! Of course both me and others care about what you think! I think you are both funny and honest and write what comes into your mind! It is highly appreciated!😊

  6. It’s nice when many bloggers like you take initiative for promoting other bloggers too. Thank you for that initiative.
As you too are reading my blog at regular intervals hope my blog is giving enough justice to not only what I feel but to the readers too. Not being the writer but a person who expresses what it feels and sharing what i learn along with reading the wonderful blogs of other bloggers.

  7. What a cool thing to do! I call my blog “Worth It” and I write about movies, music, activities, books, and life hacks that I think are worth the time/effort. I sometimes share stories and observations (like how wrapping Christmas presents turned into an adventure and how my parents have changed since the grandkids came along). I’d love to see you visit!

  9. Please everyone. Write a little about what your blog is about. There will be many posts on this lovely post that Edmark has created to be able to find blogs that we like.😊 Then you do not have to click on maybe a hundred different links.
Something I miss from many blogs is an “about” page, some info about the blog and the blogger and an e-mail where you can reach the blogger.
Thanks again, Edmark for this initiative!😊 I’m constantly looking for a blogs to follow, and it’s very difficult.
