    1. Hmm, it depends on the group and situation. If they’re too grave to appreciate humor, then maybe yes.

      Nonetheless, the most important aspect is the skill of the speaker. Delivering this kind of humor requires confidence, sense of timing and audience awareness. If the speaker is lacking in any of those departments, then the it would fall flat and the joke would be on him…
